A lawsuit against New York’s assault weapons ban has gained momentum after a Federal Judge allowed the lawsuit to proceed.
This lawsuit, filed by the Second Amendment Foundation, challenges the constitutionality of the state’s assault weapons ban. The lawsuit says the ban is unconstitutional because it expands the definition of an “assault weapon” beyond the parameters of the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution.
