In this video, we’ll explain why Nvidia’s Gamestream service is no more and give you some tips on how to replace it.

Nvidia’s Gamestream service lets you stream games from your PC to your TV. It was a great way to watch your games without having to leave your living room. However, Nvidia decided to discontinue the service. Here’s why:
If you’re an Nvidia Shield owner or have an Nvidia game controller, you may have noticed that the company’s Gamestream service has been discontinued. This service allowed you to stream PC games to your TV over the internet, using your Nvidia Shield or game controller.
Nvidia has announced that the service will be discontinued, citing low demand and competition from other services like Steam Link and Moonlight. Although the service will be discontinued, Nvidia hopes that those who have invested in the service will continue to use it for future games.
Will this impact the competition and how they handle local streaming like Sony and Microsoft.
This also impacts what they may do in the future. Will they do movies and stream them, who knows?

Gamestream allowed you to stream games to your TV through your computer. This meant you could play your games on your big screen, no matter where you were. But now that Gamestream has been discontinued, this option is gone. Unless you have a 4K TV or a gaming computer, you’ll have to find another way to enjoy your games.

Fortunately, there are other options. Moonlight and Sunshine and Parsec.
