Here is Rauraaaa’s (on Depop) Funky Chic Winter Forecast of this January Day reporting out from Shenandoah, Virginia.
Chic Layers and Hats/Scarves are recommended. I wear a Vintage Corduroy Go International Dress with a matching Navy Canvas & Brown Leather Belt, and Black Carlos by Carlos Santana Booties.
My outerwear included my staple Larry Levine Black Puffy Coat and my new Staple, my Black Corduroy Bucket Hat.
In this video I discuss how I modified the dress with a Heat & Bond Hem to restore it to original quality and appearance. I also DIY the belt to create a petite high-waisted belt by applying Scotch Gift Wrap Tape around the Belt facing out- then a second strip around the first strip facing in- that way the belt is not being touched by any stickiness.
Secondly, I discuss the outerwear worn- I wear my Larry Levine Puffy Coat and Corduroy Bucket Hat and also mention different ways to button the coat to create the most attractive and appealing shape based on the look you are going for. Don’t just button your coat up from the Bottom! Play around! Here I only used the second button and was able to show off the dress underneath and create an A-line look with the pockets.
